Some help choosing your gift card

  1. How much should I spend on a Gift Card?
    There is no magic number, this your decision. Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount but we would recommend using the above prices as a guide, as guest spending may vary. It is possible for guests to pay for any additional spend.
  2. What kind of payment methods do you accept for the gift card?
    You may pay through Visa or Mastercard Credit Cards, Malaysian Online Banking, selected Malaysian E-Wallets or Paypal.
  3. I’ve just purchased a Gift Card for someone. What happens next?
    A notification will be sent to your recipient with a voucher code, they can then make a reservation through our website. All they need to do is let us know the voucher code that was given to them.
  4. How long is my gift card valid for?
    This Gift Card is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance.
  5. Can I buy a gift card if I live outside of Malaysia?
    ‍    Different countries impose various levels of restrictions on international online and credit card payments with different banks. Most cards do work with our platform, but some may not.
  6. How much would wine normally cost? 
    It is RM60 per glass and about RM 360 per bottle of house pour.
  7. We don’t drink wine. Do you have a non-alcoholic pairing?
    ‍    We do, this is RM130 per guest & is finalised on the night. Let us know if you would like this in advance.
  8. I want a private room?
    The private space is available for use for RM1000. Food & Beverage are charged separately, as per consumption. Reservations for the private room are only made through email. You can read more about private room bookings in our FAQ.

GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. This Gift Card is redeemable only for food and beverages.
  2. This Gift Card is inclusive of all applicable service and government taxes.
  3. Reservations must be made (either online or via telephone) at least 48 hours in advance, seating is subject to availability. Gift Card serial number must be included or provided in all correspondence. Dewakan reserves the right to reject the use of Gift Card if the recipient fails to include or provide the Gift Card serial number during reservation. Purchase of a Gift Card is not a guarantee of a reservation.
  4. This Gift Card cannot be used on certain holidays such as Christmas Day or New Year's Day or certain promotional days such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. Please ask when booking.
  5. Gift Cards used on Dewakan menus, available during promotional periods, such as the festive season may be subject to a supplement. Please ask when booking.
  6. This Gift Card is valid for a single transaction only.
  7. This Gift Card is not transferable.
  8. This Gift Card is valid for dine in at Dewakan only and is strictly not valid for any special collaborative events hosted at Dewakan.
  9. This Gift Card is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. Gift Cards not used within this 3-months period will thereafter be null and void with no entitlement to refund or exchange. It is not possible to extend Gift Card validity beyond the stated 3-months validity period.
  10. This Gift Card can only be used for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable for cash or another Gift Card and will be automatically forfeited. No change will be returned for spending that is below the amount stated on the Gift Card and the recipient is required to pay for any spend exceeding the Gift Card amount.
  11. The Gift Card (email or printed) must be presented either in a printed format or shown on a smartphone on arrival at the restaurant at the start of your dining experience.
  12. Dewakan reserves the right to reject any Gift Card that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
  13. Dewakan is not responsible if the Gift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
  14. Dewakan reserves the right to change, modify or amend the conditions herein at any time without prior notification.
